Fragrantica

Pros

• I made sure to research extensively opinions and reviews on Fragrantica and on other sites that sell perfumes.
• I’m not converting. It works great for me on my IPhone, as a quick reference. I don’t spend enough time on it to get bothered by the ads or reviews.
• Fragrantica is alright as well.
• I just used the Fragrantica website! You can make an account and add fragrances to your digital collection :)
• i really like being able to track how many times ive sprayed a fragrance so i pretty much only use fragrantica for the perfume timeline feature now lol

Cons

• I get proceeds to read out all the notes listed on Fragrantica
• I quit ever since the owners deleted a comment of mine in like 2021 on some new release that I was happy not to be wearing a mask anymore so I could smell perfumes in the air again… apparently that was l offensive to them… had no idea th...
• So Fragrantica became unusable for me after one of the owners deleted a positive comment I made on a fragrance release and came at me in DMs for it because I made a mention of masking in my comment
• Every now and then I'll take a peek at Fragrantica just since their base of user-generated reviews and ratings is much older and numerous, but you're right, the website is a mess.
• There’s also Fragrantica but I don’t recommend it—the owners are far-right activists and the site is full of junky ads.
