Reddit take

Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • Kind of specific and not exactly what was asked but LuckyScent offers curated sets of samples that come with a 20% off coupon if you order a full bottle.
  • On sites like LuckyScent and Surrender to Chance, you can search on your favorite notes and select individual perfume samples.
  • Spend $50 on samples from LuckyScent, you can filter by main note, go for some you know you’ll like and take a few risks.
  • Luckyscent is US based and carries some niche Asian perfume houses like One Day (Taiwan), J-Scent (Japan), and Strangers (Thailand). They also carry d’Annam.
  • I love LuckyScent. They offer such a wide variety of affordable samples. I’ve been to the ScentBar in Hollywood and also loved the experience.

Cons

  • I will put in my two cents worth by suggesting that you get your decants from somewhere other than lucky scent moving forward. At least for me, I cannot properly test a fragrance when it only comes with a dabber.
  • I also look at Luckyscent and Scent Split to see what catches my eyes and order samples. It helps me discover different fragrances from houses I like.
  • I used to purchase exclusively from Lucky but I don’t like that they don’t have spray decants
  • Hit up a decant site like ScentSplit, Surrender to Chance, or LuckyScent and go bit by bit

In addition the website is the premiere place for niche fragrance, an industry most consumers currently have no idea even exists. ... And I spend over $100 per year on samples from the website.

The most expensive ones I don't notice it but you can always get samples off @f_f_fragrance on depop, luckyscent or bloom perfumery!

I originally got into perfumes by buying samples from luckyscent (i wanted to try to find a signature scent) and made a few orders before i found what i really liked.
