FortiGate

Pros
- We swapped our sonicwall environment to fortigate. All of our weird issues stopped. Blocking is so much better, and content control.
- Fortigate is way ahead of Sonicwall.
- My whole family is on UniFi but at my workplace I would rather have a fortigate
- Instead of using and patching Windows Servers, we got a FortiGate (spec for your needs) and use it as the AOVPN gateway.
- When I access the default gateway, I land on a FortiGate interface, and I also saw they’re using Cisco switches.
Cons
- That is what I'm trying to figure out, but the documentation on Fortigate is leaving me some issues. We are also behind on some upgrades before we can't lose SSL-VPN at the moment and I can't for for the life of me get Single Sign on SAM...
- Before we converted, we were running VELO and Fortigate behind it. Those failed more than Unifi units
- $99 a year for the additional security.. that’s nothing.. have you seen the prices of fortigate? And they still have breaches.

That is what I'm trying to figure out, but the documentation on Fortigate is leaving me some issues. We are also behind on some upgrades before we can't lose SSL-VPN at the moment and I can't for for the life of me get Single Sign on SAML working over IPSec for end user.

I have an old Fortigate at home and the SSL inspection blocks some sketchy ads coming from the web.

I'd look into fortigates. A lot of different models that are competitively priced and they're easy to use even for large companies.
