What redditors said (10 of 10)
Feels very robust and yeah it's really silent, i also like the dpad a lot.
All in all, I think the EasySMX X05 Pro is one of the best value controllers you can get. It has everything I want in a controller (quiet buttons, seamless wireless operation, decent battery life) while being quite affordable.
Despite all the great things it has going for it, the X05 Pro also lacks proper software support, so any controller-related operation such as changing the RGB lighting or assigning operations to the programmable shoulder buttons are done on the controller itself.
For gamers who are looking for a cost-effective wireless controller with quiet buttons, the EasySMX X05 Pro is an excellent option
Charging time takes a bit long though at around 3 hours.
As for its face and shoulder buttons, they are a bit quieter than the ones found in the GameSir Super Nova, which, I might add, were already quiet enough. The X05 Pro is not as quiet as the Switch 2 Pro controller, but then again, that's like literally one of the most silent controllers you can ever use.
As someone who is quite particular about how loud a controller is, the X05 Pro's quiet buttons are something I really appreciate. It uses a D-pad that is similar in design to the one found in the Series X/S controller, but only A LOT quieter. What I love about its D-pad is that its tactile enough without being obnoxiously loud.
The included wireless receiver also works flawlessly and as it should. Pairing it with the controller was a breeze and I never encountered any latency or connection-related issues.
The X05 Pro's battery life is also decent. Sporting a 1000mAh battery, I averaged around 12-15 hours per charge, which I found to be similar to the GameSir Super Nova.
