Dr. Brown's

Pros

• We were able to try all the babies and discovered my baby prefers Dr browns and Nuk and HATES Phillips avent.
• I like the softer silicone of the nipples of Dr browns compared to Philips avent
• I've been hearing Dr. Browns alot. Definitely considering switching out the arsenal!
• We also switched from como tomo bottles to Dr browns and that switch helped a lot too!
• Parent context: I'm an IBCLC and the bottles that come in the sampler aren't great for infant oral motor skills. Dr. Browns is ok, but the rest are pretty bad. Avent is way too slow for many babies to the point of being dangerous. Reply:...

Cons

• We have the Philips avent, the Dr. browns, and the landinoh’s all for newborns.
• Dr. Browns just leaks and makes our daughter way more gassy than the Avent.
• Over time LO started "playing" with the Dr Browns nipples on them. A few leak issues. The "anti colic valve" (green stem part) can be tough to clean and is an extra piece.
• It’s very important that no matter what anyone tells you on here or otherwise that you do not get dr browns, they literally suck, suck to clean, leak all the time
• Dr. Browns leak like crazy, avoid them like the plague. I have no idea why they're so highly recommended.
