Pros

  • Just get an Air 3s if you're really getting into the hobby. Stop messing around with the toy drones and do a real upgrade, you deserve it!
  • Yeah, even the air air 3S is more compact and portable than the avata 2 thats my goal to save for right now.
  • For 24 minutes the Air 3S flew a pre-programmed course around- a gas station, McDonalds, and Starbucks.
  • The Mini 4P is rated at about 10m/s and the Air 3S at 13m/s. Not a lot of difference, but the ability to power into the wind and resist getting blown downwind is pretty noticeable during automated flight.
  • I have the air 3s and love it. The sensors are so good on it the aircraft warning alone

Cons

  • one remote and googles and i'm flying the neo, avata 2, mini pro 4 and air 3s
  • I'd avoid amazon as there are fakes on there (though I bought my Air 3s from amazon before knowing and it worked out)
  • That container looks like it costs about the same as an Air 3S 😅

having the 70mm lens is well worth carrying the air 3s for. It just opens up far more possibilities.

I just bought an Air 3S from eBay from a South Korean seller/store. I ordered it last Sunday and it arrived on Friday. I didn’t have any shipping/import issues. It was brand new and worked perfectly fine. The seller was very communicative. It was also actually cheaper than if I could’ve bought it brand new from DJI in the US.
