Deity (audio equipment brand)

Pros

• The deity ones have a special setting exactly for this use case, and come with an inbuilt scratch audio mic for the right channel.
• Deity are my current favorite for shoots where I don’t want to expose my Lectrosonics, but still want high quality audio. The integration between Deity tx, rx, and timecode boxes make them a stellar choice for inexpensive but still quali...
• I use the Deity, but would recommend the Audioroot.
• I have multiple lockit boxes and used multiple more, and by far the easiest and fastest for starting my day are the deitys.
• I use them. They jam wirelessly and keep great time. I ditched my JB-1s for them... Absolutely nothing wrong with them. Trust me.

Cons

• The deity too, although the lack of internal cabling option is kind of a deal breaker if you're not running wireless boom most of the time.
• This is why i have not and will not buy anything from Deity. They spend too much on the build looking nice and flashy, but under the hood its all cheap crap.
• Deity is banned in a lot of sporting arenas because the RF spray is so horrible. It’s hard enough to fight RF on the daily.
• Deity RF spray is crazy. If you end up getting a gig in a highly rf coordinated location there's a good chance that you won't be aloud to use them.
• Important to note that Deity wireless is often banned at major sporting events for having bandwidth issues.
