Pros
- I absolutely love Cynar. I put off buying it for a long time because it just sounds weird (liquer from artichokes) but that was a mistake. Its great. Highly recommended.
- Cynar is one of those bottles with no comparison. Not a lot of artichoke among the other Amari.
- Quite nice, and I'm looking forward to making some other Cynar things after the calendar is complete
- Buy the Cynar, make some Artichoke Holds and never look back.
- I personally love having a bottle of Cynar around.
Cons
- Cynar: Smells like semi-putrid artichokes. Tastes like heavily sweetened, lightly semi-putrid, bitter-sweet artichoke sour syrup. Makes me sad for the artichokes that gave their life for this.
- Punt E Mes is like Cynar for me, not even that cool or my thing on its own, but almost every drink with it is simply great.
- I once made the mistake of ordering a Negroni w/ Cynar subbed for Campari, in a VERY old school Italian restaurant.

Cynar, Fernet, Aperol or Campari are dirt cheap and very common in supermarkets here.
