Crucial MX500

Pros

• Now the next big upgrade, swap out the HDD for a SATA SSD with DRAM cache. This would be something like a Samsung 870 Evo or Crucial MX500. This will be MUCH faster than the old HDD.
• Just avoid cheap ass QLC dramless drives, so get stuff like a Samsung EVo (not the QVO), Sandisk Ultra, Crucial MX500 (if you find any, unfortunately it's EOL).
• The crucial mx is for my personal obsidian vault that I plan on connecting into my AI when it's set up.
• But then, my duo of 500GB SATA and 1TB SATA of Crucial MX500 have made the journey from used Elite 8300SFF, all the way to my current 5070Ti rigs. If you have the slot to put it in, why not?

Cons

• The MX500 is discontinued, so if it is available at all, it will be horribly expensive.
• Crucial MX500 (500GB)
• I notice that upon boot one of the SATA drives will not be detected either the mx500 or the HDD.
• i've been planning to go back to the store where i bought and installed the SSD to the laptop to see if i can either trade it for a mx500 (mainly to run my OS)
