Corsair RM750e goes on sale regularly for £75 down from £110 where I am, which is then just under $100 USD I think. I'm very happy with mine.

Corsair are currently experiencing problems with their RMe PSUs I brought one a RM750E and they make some strange sounds contacted them to RMA and they said they're aware of the issue but that it does not affect performance and is also prevalent in the other psu in this range up to the RM1000E they will however still replace it

Also, the RM750e is a good quality unit.
The RM750e only has a 7-year warranty, while the Thermaltake has a 10-year. Also, if you ever upgrade to a modern Nvidia GPU, you’ll appreciate the Thermaltake’s native 12VHPWR port and cable. Corsair only provides a 12VHPWR adapter cable that plugs-in to two 8-pin ports on the PSU side.
The RMe series units are much better overall and well worth going for over the CX series. A good PSU is a must IMO.
It's an 8 month old CORSAIR RM750e, cables are new and no extensions are involved. I upgraded everything besides the GPU at that time. Just got the GPU.
I like Corsair and EVGA. I would get the Corsair RM750e. Maybe someone else could give you a good recommendation, but that would be my pick.
Yes replace it immediately, too risky to keep using it.
