Canon EOS C70

I loved my C100 ii, sold it to get a C70 which I still have.

A C70 or an FX6 is the middle ground and feels damn good to use.

For pure video the c70 might be a better camera.

It depends on the mix of photo and video your doing but I’d say the c70 a pretty big step up for video and you can keep the good aps c lenses.

Have you looked at a c70? It’s about that $2500 dollar figure with much better video than a r5. I have a r5 and a c70 and the c70 has much better dynamic range, built in nds when working outside, better quality 4k60 and 4k120, better codecs, better ui and more.

I thought about buying one myself for cheap, but honestly the C70 is a bit more versatile (for my needs) I almost exclusively use EF glass but I do like the flexibility of having an RF mount (inexpensive anamorphic options) and the media is cheap (v60/v90 sd cards)

Your also getting to the cinema camera price point so there are options like a c70 for a more video focused body.

Have you considered a c70? Should be some of the best dynamic range for that budget, and can be found about the same price as a used a7siii.
