C855K

Pros

• the C855K is a high end TV from last year and considering its specs is technically better than the C7K
• The C855K does feature slightly more dimming zones and higher peak brightness.
• BTW, I was waiting for the C8K also but ended up getting the C855K. Fantastic television !
• the c855k can def go brighter at the max point but tbh i never have the tv max brightness anyways and when it is max brightness for hdr content its more than enough honestly
• it's a good TV it's worth buying the c855k for 2.2k has it has more brightness 3500 nits 85inch has 2304 dimming zones rather than the c805k has 880 dimming zones and 1500 nits it's a no brainer

Cons

• the C855K is a high end TV from last year and considering its specs is technically better than the C7K but you dont get the new features and also its hella expensive still
• whereas the C855K uses the same **Onkyo 2.1** speaker setup as the C6K.
• my c855k suffered from real bad backlight zone lines which was visible in white or bright content and camera panning scenes, 1 of those that once you notice you end up looking at it instead of the content so it had to go back
• my c855k didnt have iplayer not sure if it does now after an update but can confirm the c7k has all the needed catchups like iplayer and the likes
• iv had the 98 c855k and it went faulty not long after having
