Users often highlight the use of high-end materials like Nappa leather, positioning it as a more premium alternative to mainstream flagships from Bose or Sony. I agree sound wise. They are excellent. I think the PX8 just messed it up for other headphones that don’t use premium parts. The PX8 just felt amazing and they also sound amazing.
I agree. I’m the type of person that really wants to get into the music so I enjoy that extra lush sound of the PX8. The natural sound would be cool for certain days but for the most part I really want to zone out and enjoy my headphones.
I’m the type of person that really wants to get into the music so I enjoy that extra lush sound of the PX8.
Because of that, I’m honestly thinking about returning them and trying to grab something like the Bowers & Wilkins Px8 or maybe the Focal Bathys if I can find them on sale.
I have the PX8 in red and gold and I love it. Yes, it might not beat wired headphones, but you gotta love the look and feel of Bowers & Wilkins.
Or more expensive options like: - B&W PX8
I had Sony XM4 and Bathys but now I only use B&W PX8 as I like the tuning and fit of these.
If sound quality is more important than ANC you could check out B&W PX7s2e or PX8.
The PX8 is technically the best I've owned, with excellent deep and punchy bass, but the mids are recessed and the treble is good.
You want great auditory presentation for music/video? ... the best regardless of price (< $750) the Focal Bathys and the B7W Px8.
