- Bic chrome platinum is the sharpest for the value in my opinion. But you will notice cost cutting, like no glue on the blades, rather sloppy paper packaging, and imo they're a 1 maybe 2 use blade for most people.

The only blades I am certain are the same are BIC Chrome Platinum and BIC Astor. BIC is clear about that.
Not so with the other razors I have which all demand one of the Russian Gillette blades or BIC Chrome Platinum in order to do a good job.
Get some quality blades: Gillette Nacet, PermaSharp, 7 O’Clock yellow, BIC Chrome Platinum, or Astra green.
So too are Astra Green, BIC Chrome Platinum, and KAI.
With a good blade, like a BIC Chrome Platinum, or a Gillette Minora, Nacet, or PermaSharp, 8 would call tossing the blade after one use “wasteful.”
