B760 board

Pros

• after checking around the b760 does seem to have better price/performance cpu options right now than the b550 while being newer and still supporting ddr4 so will definitely go that route.
• Something like the i5 14600k with a b760 board or if you want to go ryzen, the 5600 and b550 board is the way to go
• i5-12600KF + B760 board + RX 9070 is the most cost effective upgrade path.
• A bit cheaper you can get a brand new i5-14600K plus a decent B760 board. Gaming performance is on par, and for work/streaming it’s actually stronger, and you avoid the whole used-CPU risk

Cons

• I was bouncing between that and getting a 14600kf and b760 board.. part of me wants to return and do it because the performance gains but I don’t feel like dishing out another 200$ for a board right now.
