Pros

  • I ditched my old PSU and order a new ATX 3.1 PSU so hopefully I will not be having to worry about that anymore.
  • I just ordered an atx 3.1 Psu so hopefully I will not be having to worry about burnt 12vhpwr cables anymore
  • I just ordered an ATX 3.1 PSU since the GPU does not have any burn or melting marks.
  • Get a ATX 3.1 PSU that comes with a native 12vhpwr cable. Melting connectors often happen because of the lack of load balancing. ATX3.1 helps with that.
  • Make sure it's an ATX 3.1 PSU, 850W is my preference for a 5070 Ti build.

Definitely get an ATX 3.1 PSU as it has a safer 12v cable for your 5090.
