To me, personally, ASUS stuff is dogshit, but you’ll see it be widely used and recommended by a lot of people. It’s all about personal experience. I’ve had plenty of GB boards and GPUs, not a lot to complain. I’ve had pretty much all my ASUS stuff crap out on me.
I find it funny how people still consider Asus to be the highest quality with motherboards, I’ve always had issues with them. Yeah, their hardware is overbuilt and overpriced for overclocking on the high end, but god forbid xmp works out of the box and good luck getting an RMA to work.

It's safe now but people avoid ASUS for a different reason (anti-consumer warranty practices) these days.
