Pros

  • It’s also built sooo much better than the trio! Glad you got a quiet one :-)
  • I decided to give another card a shot and managed to grab an ASUS TUF 5090. ... in my case the difference is night and day. The TUF is ***basically silent*** and runs just as cool, if not slightly cooler. No more whining when scrolling...
  • No idea about the pricing in your country, but if I could afford a 5090 I would absolutely have one
  • I would buy it in an instant at 2100
  • I agree! it’s all metal and very little plastic. Feels more premium.

Cons

I decided to give another card a shot and managed to grab an ASUS TUF 5090. ... in my case the difference is night and day. The TUF is ***basically silent*** and runs just as cool, if not slightly cooler. No more whining when scrolling or doing basic desktop tasks.

Im building a new pc its been few years where i was out of the hobby completely and now im back with 9850 and asus tuff 5090, im using the recommended psu hxi1200 with the cable provided. But doing more research and now IM worried about melting, i play a lot of first person shooter games like bf6, cod, etc. i dont overclock, so i was wondering if using the proper cable do i have to still to worry about the melting?

There's also promo codes online I used a 10% off so after tax it's $2100 (shipped too) for the ASUS TUF 5090.
