Pros
- I have the same monitor and card , every game looks so freaking good
- I would at least definitely recommend going some form of OLEd given the price of your system.
- First of all, going oled on a monitor is a great choice but you might need to learn how to take good care of it.
- Parent context: Hey man! I am currently using the Samsung G61SD and considering switching to the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG Reply: In SDR, though, I’m really impressed with the ASUS, especially the brightness, clarity and overall pict...
- I bought the monitor just two weeks ago and am absolutely thrilled with it. None of the potential issues with OLEDs that I had read about have materialized; instead, I have a very sharp, clean, and—above all—bright image.
Cons
- I have this monitor and I can’t seem to dial it in to a spot where I’m happy

- I bought xg27aqwmg a month ago. And my unit came with a horizontal banding near blacks almost in every color. Pixel cleaning solved the issue but only till it was on. After turning off and turning on the horizontal banding was there agai...

The first thing that stood out to me was the brightness. This is easily one of the brightest OLED monitors I've personally used. Especially for a WOLED, I wasn't expecting it to get this bright. Highlights look great, and even in SDR it doesn't give me that slightly dim feeling I've had with some other OLED monitors. The glossy coating is another big plus for me. The image looks extremely clear and clean, and colors have a lot of pop without looking washed out.
For Valorant, 280Hz combined with OLED response times feels incredibly responsive. Motion clarity is excellent and I haven't noticed any distracting ghosting or smearing.
I bought xg27aqwmg a month ago. And my unit came with a horizontal banding near blacks almost in every color. Pixel cleaning solved the issue but only till it was on. After turning off and turning on the horizontal banding was there again. I contacted the store and explained my issue, and they asked me to bring the monitor. After checking they confirmed that my specific unit had a manufacturing defect and replaced with a brand new one which has practically no banding.
