I’ve been using it since the first week of its launch, and it is by far Arctic's best paste in terms of results honestly, one of the best I’ve ever tested. Under high thermal stress, it keeps temperatures rock-solid. … In Cinebench, I went from ~82°C with MX-6 to a steady 76°C. To clarify, the MX-6 was less than a year old, so I assume it was still in peak condition. I also used it on my RTX 4090 applying it by spreading it across the die and saw an average drop of 5°C at full load.
I use MX-7 on an AMD4 5900X and it's one of the best results to date, although the application is less enjoyable...very dense.

For me it's hard to beat the price vs. performance of the MX-7 and the convenience of standard paste. Plus I often tinker with my build and build/maintain PCs and laptops for friend, so Arctic was my go-to for a long time.

Also for thermal paste get the new Arctic MX-7. I have the MX-6 and it's great. The newer MX-7 does provide a 1-2C advantage.
