At -10°F, (-25°C) the thermal paste hardened and would no longer transfer heat away from the ihs. So I started getting overtemp faults when it was -10 outside. Was using Arctic MX-4
Mx-4 is garbage in my experience, but if the cooler paste is also the same then i'd not worry about the temps. They are normal.
Replaced thermal paste with different types such as Thermal Grizzly Duronaut, Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet and ARCTIC MX-4.

Mineral oil is so thick is basically doesn't matter. It moves so slow it practically can't dissolve your little pancake slice of regular old Arctic MX-4 from between the cpu heat spreader and the cold plate of your cooler.
Arctic MX-4 is an older version of the MX-6 and MX-7, so I'm surprised they're charging that much more for it over the aeronaught.
Seems odd that MX-4 would cost more than Aeronaut. Here, I can get 4gs of MX-4 for what 1g of aeronaut costs.
Any brand name thermal paste would work fine though. You'd barely notice a difference between them.
