Sadly, the Studio Display XDR has bad smearing, making it a poor choice if you play games.
The studio display XDR gets a lot of praise, but I just don’t think it’s as good as people are making it out to be. I think it has a lot of blooming, and well, you mentioned that you didn’t really agree with the shadow bias algorithm, so perhaps that’s part of the issue here, but I really didn’t like the highlight bias algorithm of the studio display XDR. I felt like blooming was far too visible in even normal usage for it to really deliver a good HDR contrast experience.

Aside from the Studio Display XDR, there isn't a Mini-LED that I know of that I would enable local dimming for desktop usage. For content, they can be great. But they aren't what one would want for desktop usage unless that use was editing HDR video. In that case, I'd still recommend a Studio Display XDR.
As hybrid user I don't recommended to use with Windows, is a monitor for Apple's ecosystem
The Studio Display XDR is basically the only monitor that doesn't have a crappy, plastic build quality, and isn't deformed with gamer aesthetic. it definitely isn't OLED (I don't care honestly) but it looks nice on the outside, has a great screen, and to my knowledge is actually the only 5K 120hz screen that exists
This isn't the case with the Studio Display XDR, even with nano-texture. ... The XDR is just better at this, but it has its own problems.
