Reply: I'm in a similar boat. Bought one at best buy a few days ago and am absolutely blown away by it. It's gorgeous and is a huge step up from my Acer 1080p 27" VA panels.

The cheapest one I found is the AOC Q27G4ZD which is $680, which is $300 more, is the $300 more worth it?
Personally I'd go and say a budget OLED 1440p like AOC Q27G4ZD is gonna give better immersion than 4k lcd.
