Pros

  • You'd be surprised how much Ango goes from "oh god why did I do this" when you lick your fingers after spilling a drop, to "how is this so good and where has all that bitterness vanished to" when you manage to balance an ounce+ of it!
  • I’m also not including bitters, but defo get angostura bitters and maybe another big type of bitters like orange, cacao, and/or peychauds if you haven’t already.
  • I’ve tried this with both Angostura bitters and molasses bitters. Both works well.
  • I've made this drink a dozen or so times for people to try and every time it gets relieved very well. Don't know why people hate on this drink. It grows on you very fast.
  • Yeah this, but replace the vodka with angostura bitters, and you're on your way

Cons

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Overall I wouldn’t recommend doing this, as the amount of bitters are costly and you can probably get a similar effect with a recipe adjustment
  • 3-4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • So I bought a 16 oz bottle online when I meant to buy the 6.75 one. Because the bottle is so large, I end up actually missing my target at times and dashing onto my countertop
  • 2 dashes Angostura
