• But easily the best experiences and results I have seasoning pans is with crisco.

• Yeah... You will become intimately familiar with the *literal* meaning of the word "rancid". The smell is real bad. Super not great.
• That shortening is gonna smell funky a few months.
• No idea why people on this sub are obsessed with specifically Crisco branded oil, it really does not matter.
