8700F is a weird pull.
I thought about just sticking low(ish) with a 8700f and 9060xt, 32gb for like 1k or going all in and just 5080 9800x3d, like is it even worth going big at the moment or what, my old pc is too ass to run shit anymore so I gotta do it I just don't know which is a smarter move

The 8700f is much worse for gaming then even the 7500f , from everything I’ve read the 7800x3d would be a great upgrade 15-30% better
I currently have a Ryzen 7 8700f on a Msi b840 gaming plus WiFi , all I do is strictly game and I’m about to throw a 7800x3d in there to pair with my 5070.
Off my research the 8700f falls behind in half the v cache as the 9600x or hell even the 7600x.
