5800x3d still kickin ass years after I bought it. Upgraded from a 2080 super to a 9070xt (honestly probably didnt need the upgrade) and my cpu doesnt even feel the difference.
You could get a few percent going for a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, but these are scarce and expensive (you need a mobo, the expensive CPU and expensive RAM).
First upgrade should be ram get 16gb×2 then maybe a 5800x3d if available at good price like around 25k
