AMD Ryzen 5

Pros

• ryzen5 should work just fine
• Literally everyone with an older AM4-CPU wants to upgrade to Ryzen 5 and therefore an x3D.
• I built a ryzen 5 (first gen ryzen! with a 1080 and 32 gb for under 1600) for myself a decade ago.
• Ryzen 5. Even an R5 3600 still plays modern games at $60, you can find them used for $50-60.
• Processor matters less but can affect performance. Anything around mid level ryzen 5 (or Intel equivalent) will be more than enough.

Cons

• I recently purchased a ryzen 7 9800x3d from cex which not only came out of the box dead, they sent a ryzen 5!
• Pissed off to high end cause that was a load of money saved up over a year wasted in an instant, motherboard was some asrock crap while the cpu was a rhyzen 5.
