Pros

  • just saw a 5060 Ti for $450 so I'm sure you can get something like a RX 7700 for your price range, saw one for $400 too
  • 5500 is underwhelming, 5600 would be better, especially for games like CS2, 7600/7700, 9060 or 3080 for GPU.
  • If you are willing to buy used you end up with way more options like the rx 7700/7800xt, Rtx 4060ti, 4070, 3070, 3080 etc.
  • So far its been great and I've enjoyed slowly learning the nuances of having a PC and how to tweak settings to my preferences.
  • My PC consists of a ROG Strix B-550 Gaming motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D, a Radeon RX 7700 DT, a 750-watt Be Quiet! power supply, and two Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR4 RAM sticks.

Cons

  • Recently I've been noticing a slight hitch ( rubber banding / pc will suddenly catch up to everyone else) when running online games, I've played with most settings in the game to no avail
