Pros

  • I recently went from a AW3423DW to the AW322QF and it’s been a really nice upgrade, no regrets.
  • I used to rock the AW3423DW and absolutely loved it, but unfortunately, it started giving me headaches
  • Longevity? I got my AW3423DW when it originally launched. Its still going strong. No burn in. No issues.
  • Nope. I abused my AW3423DW, in the sense of not hiding taskbar. Doing tons of normal computer use which should cause burn in. I've had the monitor since its original release and used it for AT LEAST 8 hours a day, 2-4 hours spent gaming....
  • And yes, I had it and compared it with my AW3423DW at the time 2 years ago.

Cons

  • What real OLED G-sync monitor are you talking about? The AW3423DW or something?
  • Got the AW3423dw liked it but didn't find it hdr performance particularly impressive.
  • Anyone else notice poor motion clarity on the AW3423DW? It drives me crazy, it’s a quite noticeable blur.
  • Stopped using my 34” 1440p UW OLED (AW3423DW) and moved to dual 27” 4K FALD IPS (Sony M9) then settled on one monitor with an iPad as a secondary display. This setup worked best for me for gaming/work. The ultrawide was excellent for gam...

Nope. I abused my AW3423DW, in the sense of not hiding taskbar. Doing tons of normal computer use which should cause burn in. I've had the monitor since its original release and used it for AT LEAST 8 hours a day, 2-4 hours spent gaming. And I still dont have any signs, at all, of burn in. Its seriously a non issue.

Stopped using my 34” 1440p UW OLED (AW3423DW) and moved to dual 27” 4K FALD IPS (Sony M9) then settled on one monitor with an iPad as a secondary display. This setup worked best for me for gaming/work. The ultrawide was excellent for games but I couldn’t be productive on it, the amount of screen real estate and sub pixel layout made it hard to focus and some apps wouldn’t resize correctly due to minimum window width so now it’s sitting in my closet lol.

I have a AW3423DW and its 1800R is the sweet spot for 34" ultrawide.
