Pros

  • The AW2726DM often appears on discounts at around ₹36k on the official Dell website so you can keep a lookout for that and purchase when it appears
  • I just Bought aw2726dm. It is an awesome EXPERIENCE. If you own a a good gpu you should try oled rather than ips 34inch. Oled is another level experience. I can never go back
  • I have the Alienware AW2726DM, it’s $350. Great monitor and you’ve never used an OLED the picture quality is a huge step up. I think the burn-in risk on these monitors is a little overblown IMO
  • I'm a developer working on an oled 27, text fringing is not that big of a deal compared to how much people talk about it everywhere, I noticed it the first day I got the monitor, Windows cleartype tool fixed it completly I forgot about it
  • Ye build mene banaya tha 1.8 lac me Monitar Alienware AW2726DM (Smartchoice) 26.5" QD OLED Monitor|99% DCI-P3, 0.03ms GTG, 240Hz Ref|AMD FreeSync Premium VESA AdaptiveSync|HDMI*2, DP 1.4|1500000:1 Contrast, 400 cd/m2 Brightness|Ergonomic

Cons

  • Parent context: Alienware AW2726DM — 27", 1440p QD-OLED (403 euros) Reply: Best to avoid OLED if your main work is text related because of text fringing
  • I'm very tempted by the Alienware OLED because I've never owned an OLED display and I'd really like to experience the contrast, true blacks, and overall image quality My main concern is longevity. This needs to be a long-term monitor, n...
  • around this price point vrr is hit or miss same with HDR, the hdr doesn't have true black 400 so blacks will look a bit grayish depending on what you're playing
  • cheapest real 1440p 27" OLED in Italy right now is €390-430 (Alienware AW2726DM), so meaningfully above budget, and the burn-in risk from my professional use case would still be a factor even if price weren't.

I'm very tempted by the Alienware OLED because I've never owned an OLED display and I'd really like to experience the contrast, true blacks, and overall image quality My main concern is longevity. This needs to be a long-term monitor, not something I want to replace after two or three years. Most of my usage will involve fairly static content for long periods

I highly believe the alienware aw2726dm is the better buy since you get 240 hz instead of 180hz and a halfway decent stand... The clarity of the alienware one looks like you're looking through a window!
