Pros

  • 4k for the text clarity
  • The true blacks on my alienware OLED is phenomenal. Love the monitor, 4K 240hz. Though i did get it discounted, I think its a bit more now. Part number is AW2725Q
  • QHD -> 4K is significantly more noticeable than 240Hz -> 360Hz. It’s not even remotely close.
  • 4k 240hz and it's not even close. QD OLED is generally a little better too even though it's subjective
  • Thinking about selling the 2k because 4k is just too damn nice.

Cons

  • I am currently trying to decide between a Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD and an Alienware AW2725Q. The Samung is the QHD and the Alienware is the 4K one. I am really not sure which of these would make more sense to buy. The Alienware is 5...
  • yea been researching thr AW issue today. its such a turn off but the 4k 27inch display is slowly pulling me back, i just hate to deal with customer support as they are normally garbage
  • Alienware being a right choice however its riddled with issues, despite DELL being proactive and replacing them they are replacing them with refurbished model which is unfair especially seeing your brand new OLED monitor dies within a fe...
  • 27" Fast IPS, dual-resolution: 4K @ 180Hz or 1080p @ 360Hz More versatile for both sharp visuals and esports speed Concern: IPS blacks and HDR aren’t as strong as OLED

240-360hz is not a big deal at all. 4k for only 50 euros more is a no brainer, assuming you have the PC to run 4k of course.

4k 240hz. It's rare that fps games will even get to 360 frames even with higher end graphics cards (unless you absolutely nuke the quality for fps).
