You’re kind of right though, in this config too much air can cause the pump to run dry so you have to tilt it to move the bubble if this happens. That generally only happens as the aio ages though so not much a of a problem unless your installing an old used one.

In the ok setup air will settle at the top of the rad and constantly get sucked into the tubes and through the pump. In better the tubes are at the bottom of the rad so it won’t happen and air will naturally get pushed out the pump as it flows and settle at the top of the rad where it tends to stay.

Also had a slight issue with my aio cooler being at a slight angle causing my cpu to idle at 84 degrees. Other than that nothing crazy, now my pc’s working like a champ.

I have a liquid freezer III pro in the ok setup and I heard air bubbles quite often interesting enough I drop the radiator lower on the case mount and I no longer hear the bubbles unless I move the tower then I hear it on start

When I had mine in the OK setup, I would often hear the bubbles from the AIO either at start up, or operation. That went away when I flipped it to the "Better" orientation and I've never heard the bubbles since then. That alone makes me feel better about the setup.
