Adobe Premiere Pro

Pros

• You don't *really* care if you get an extra 10 fps when you decide to play some Call of Duty, but you really *DO* care how [Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve](https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/puget-bench-for-premiere-pro-and-dav...
• Blender and Premiere Pro are still heavily Nvidia favored.
• I edit in Premiere Pro on the side as well.
• But every AI feature so far in Premiere has only helped me work a little faster (transcription, text-to-video editing, etc.).
• I’m a content creator and I’m pretty decent in premiere but I’ve found that video editing itself is a huge pain for me personally and just zaps the joy out of the content creation process.

Cons

• Premiere Pro is usually just very slow while editing and then fails to export.
• Recently, I have been struggling with video editing on my system; the system crashes, the graphics drivers crash, and performance is sluggish. This doesn't seem to affect games at all, or nothing noticeable, just video editing software l...
• It's better than Premiere, and if you're just getting started it's absolutely better to go with Resolve for free than to get locked into paying for an Adobe subscription.
• Just want to rant about how Premiere and maybe Resolve's syncing, isn't all that great. Its great for individual clips, but it doesn't do any batch work where you can just chuck 100 clips in and let it do its thing.
• wav form sync functions in premiere and resolve are both pretty good so there's not really a super strong need other than a failsafe.
