I would say upgrade to an X3D chip (7500X3D, 7600X3D) or 2TB storage. If you know you won't be playing many games I'd go with the cpu upgrade

I’d look at a 7600x3d if you’re really itching for an x3d chip. It was only a few fps off the 7800x3d in testing.

If that’s the case go to Micro Center and buy their 7600X3D bundle.

Personally I say no. This is partially because I live near enough to a Microcenter which has a 7600X3D combo for the MSRP of the 5800X3D re-release that would be better for gaming and productivity.

You also might consider a 7600X3D if they're available and the price is similar

A good CPU to pair with a 9060 XT/9070 is a 9600X or 7600X3D.

for gaming, then 7600X3D has unbeatable value.

7600x3d / 9070 XT here. I play at 4k, and I’ve yet to see the cpu go over 60%.
