Pros
- I’ve already ordered the RTX 5090 ROG Astral OC, the RAM, and the monitor, and the full build is going to be around a 9850X3D, X870E Hero, 64GB Trident Z5 Neo RGB, 4TB SSD, 1200W ROG Strix PSU, TRYX Panorama SE 360, HYTE Y70, and Lian Li...
- I’ve purchased a brand new 4tb SSD that I plan to use for storage when it comes to my games.
- at those prices u might as well just get a 4tb SSD ur games and OS will have plenty of room on there
- Personally, I have 16TB (4x 4TB HDD) on my NAS, 18TB (6x 3TB) on my backup/server PC, and around 4TB of SSD on my gaming PC.
- I decided to go with an upgrade to a z890 and 265kf and swap the hybrid 4tb drive with a 4tb ssd (already have a 1tb ssd to run win on).
Cons
- To be fair, a 4TB ssd for 2k is not really something anyone would consider, you can still get them for ~330-370 or so.
- I was saving up for a 4tb at $320 think it was in December. Now it shows $600+. Guess I’ll have to stick to removing the game once I finish it then install next ones.
- I mean 4tb is a fucking large drive for having games on already. 8tb would feel like massive overkill.
