100 Endgames You Must Know

Pros
- I would also recommend at least going through the theoretical one (100 Engames you must know) before or at the same time.
- I’d probably recommend Silman’s Endgame Course for a more gentle and structured endgame book, or 100 Endgames You Must Know if you want to work hard on something which is manageable and covers all bases.
- first you have to go through basic endgames (say DeLaVilla's"100 Endgames..."
- I already have 100 Endgames You Must Know, so I could definitely go through it again.
- Another book would be De la Villa's 100 Endgames You Must Know. I think it's perfect for your level to learn the endgames.
Cons
- From what I read (and a leaf through) 100 Endgames it often takes on specific scenarios and niche endgames after a chapter of revision/introduction, certainly aimed more towards master level.
- 100 EYMK is enough (and, in fact too much!).
- 100EYMK is grinding a bunch of theoretical positions. It's certainly useful, but in my opinion if you know everything in Silman but none of the additional stuff in De La Villa, below 1900 I doubt it'll cost you more than half a point eve...
- have done a chunk of de la Villa but felt I wasn't getting a ton out of it

100EYMK is grinding a bunch of theoretical positions. It's certainly useful, but in my opinion if you know everything in Silman but none of the additional stuff in De La Villa, below 1900 I doubt it'll cost you more than half a point every fifty games.
Another book would be De la Villa's 100 Endgames You Must Know. I think it's perfect for your level to learn the endgames.
100 engames you must know is another option in this area - it is more compicated if you do all 100, but it has a list of what to begin with that should be enough to begin with.
For endgames I'd suggest 100 Endgames you must Know by Jesus
