Just get an Air 3s if you're really getting into the hobby. Stop messing around with the toy drones and do a real upgrade, you deserve it!
Yeah, even the air air 3S is more compact and portable than the avata 2 thats my goal to save for right now.
For 24 minutes the Air 3S flew a pre-programmed course around- a gas station, McDonalds, and Starbucks.
The Mini 4P is rated at about 10m/s and the Air 3S at 13m/s. Not a lot of difference, but the ability to power into the wind and resist getting blown downwind is pretty noticeable during automated flight.
I have the air 3s and love it. The sensors are so good on it the aircraft warning alone

Shot on the same flight path using Waypoints with a DJI Flip drone.
My DJI flip is really easy and they’re available used for a couple hundred. OfferUp has lots of them and they aren’t up to spec for modern camera drones really, but if you look into it it’s got a couple control modes including voice.
Dji Flip is what you are looking for. Less than 250g, automatic modes, 3-axis gimbal (perfect stabilization). As something simple for travel, better than the neo 1 or 2. It has functions that the mini 4/5 does not have and is cheaper.
I have the Flip and the 4k. 4k was my first drone but if I had to do it over again I'd just get the Flip. It's basically better in every way and has prop guards. The 4k is by no means a bad drone, I just think you get more bang for your buck with the Flip.
Wind currents over the water, especially if you’re near cliffs like in the picture above can be unpredictable and with a small drone like the flip that could maybe cause an issue. Also reflections off the water can cause the landing sensors to get disoriented.
