Pros

  • Avene cicalfate+ and zeroid soothing cream were both great for me when I had perioral dermatitis. You have to put the avene in hotass water and then shake it up for like 10 minutes though it's very weird
  • I used zeroid soothing cream, hypochlorous acid spray (you want one with no additives other than the hypochlorous acid and water), and zinc diaper cream as an overnight mask in the problem areas.
  • I also use Zeroid Soothing cream and am a big fan, but it’s not as weightless as Uriage.
  • A moisturizing sunscreen (like BOJ, since it has B5 and can help with barrier repair) in the AM, a barrier-supporting cream in the PM (Aestura is good, but I like Zeroid soothing cream better - and it’s generally half the price), wash fa...
  • Zeroid soothing cream is my go to. If you’re super dry, Aestura might be better - but I find the boring Zeroid to be the best thing going for this.

Cons

  • Zeroid soothing cream. It is kinda dry for me but it has ceramides so I use it a few times a week after my toner.

A moisturizing sunscreen (like BOJ, since it has B5 and can help with barrier repair) in the AM, a barrier-supporting cream in the PM (Aestura is good, but I like Zeroid soothing cream better - and it’s generally half the price), wash face with water only in the AM, and use something that doesn’t strip lipids in the PM (Regimen Lab Tabula Rasa would be my recommendation).

I use Aveeno oat gel moisturizer over it. The Aveeno is not awesome at moisturizing but it makes a difference and is the only thing that doesn’t burn my skin besides Zeroid …
