I am personally not a fan of CeraVe since I find their products dry me out a lot.
My skincare routine is CeraVe cleanser and moisturizer in the morning and evenings, and that’s it. I am very new to skin care. I would say I have dry skin, but not like desert dry. I wouldn’t call it combo, it’s definitely drier than that, but it’s not like the Sahara.
And the Cerave cream tends to have petrolatum, which also clogs the pores.
honestly the cerave daily moisturizing lotion might work for you - it's got ceramides too and has that lightweight feel without being greasy. i've used both and they're pretty similar in terms of how they absorb
Cerave Moisturizing cream at the recommendation of my dermatologist bc it’s formulated for sensitive skin & barrier support (with ceramides, etc). It didn’t burn and sting my skin like so many others.
She rec’d Cerave moisturizer, but my skin only stayed moisturized as long as the product was on my skin. When it wore or was washed off (even just water), I’d go right back to dry, tight, itchy.
I love the cerave daily moisturizer as a firstayer moisturizer
