For me, Bear Brook and Your Own Backyard are the top two of investigative podcasts. ... Your Own Backyard covers a missing person case with insane details and the reporting is done together with the family of the victim. The podcast was super important in finally getting some justice.

I just finished Your Own Backyard and it really lived up to all the hype. The exact opposite of giggly morning show presentation. A beautiful, heartfelt exploration. I have some quibbles in style but even for its faults it is really, really good.

Your Own Backyard: About a missing college student. Long, but worth every minute. The podcast directly affected the case and the storytelling is exactly what I love. (Respectful, to the point, non sensational, etc.)
