For me, Bear Brook and Your Own Backyard are the top two of investigative podcasts. ... Your Own Backyard covers a missing person case with insane details and the reporting is done together with the family of the victim. The podcast was super important in finally getting some justice.

I’m looking for recommendations of podcasts similar to Serial, S*Town, Your Own Backyard, Bear Brook, etc.

This is the podcast I probably listen to most consistently. I like that they usually stick to the topic. ... I like that they get straight into it, it's very information-dense, and my favorite parts are when they know how ridiculous the events or situation is that they're describing and can't help but to break into giggles.

What Went Wrong doesn't review movies, per se, but it covers how they're made. Absolutely fantastic podcast.
