AI summary of the Reddit excerpts below — not a quote
YesStyle is a widely used platform for sourcing Asian beauty products and fashion, valued primarily for its competitive pricing compared to local retailers and its extensive selection. While the service is generally considered a reliable source for authentic skincare, user experiences are polarized regarding shipping speeds and customer service. Fashion shoppers find the sizing ideal for petite frames but warn that clothing quality can be inconsistent, often recommending that buyers stick to items with existing positive reviews.
Pros
- Significantly lower prices on Asian skincare and makeup compared to local Western stores or Olive Young
- Ideal sizing for petite individuals as clothes are tailored to Asian market standards
- Frequent sales, discounts, and coupon incentives
- Wide availability of Asian sunscreens and cosmetics that are difficult to find elsewhere
- Generally recognized as an authorized retailer for many major Asian beauty brands
Cons
- Standard shipping is frequently described as very slow
- Inconsistent clothing quality, particularly for items without user reviews
- Customer service response is sometimes described as inadequate or difficult to navigate for refunds
- Strict return policies that exclude certain categories like wigs
- Potential for unexpected customs duties or taxes on international orders
Caveats
- While most users vouch for authenticity, isolated reports of counterfeit products exist
- US-based shoppers have recently reported concerns regarding changing import policies and potential package seizures
- Clothing may look better in professional photos than in person ('uggo up close')
- Refunds are sometimes issued as store credit rather than original payment
Best for
- Petite shoppers looking for Asian fashion trends
- Budget-conscious skincare enthusiasts who can plan purchases in advance
- Users seeking specific Asian beauty brands not sold in their home country
Avoid if
- You need items delivered quickly for a specific date
- You prefer a simple, local return process
- You are sensitive to inconsistent fabric quality or 'odd' clothing construction

I like looking at yesstyle reviews although some people have been adding chatgpt reviews 🤦♀️
It arrived slit open and torn with nothing in it 😭 I contacted customer service and im waiting for a response 😭😭😭
I bought this sunscreen off YesStyle and later realized it was a fake when my friend got me the real thing when she visited Japan. I don’t trust them at all now because I’m terrified of getting sent a dupe again
I’ve bought clothes from YesStyle multiple times. I’m careful to mostly only buy clothes that have good reviews. Sometimes I’ve bought things that don’t have any and the quality is odd, but that hasn’t happened very often. As a petite Asian woman, the sizing is made for someone like me so I can browse knowing most things are decent and nearly everything will actually fit me.
When I shop, I do compare stylevana and yesstyle, but stlv has been cheaper in like 95% cases than yst (and has freebies!) and is consistently 2-3x cheaper that what I would get in EU. It's just longer delivery times 🤷🏻♀️
It’s not that much of a problem as you can order from Stylevana, Yesstyle etc
I’m sorry their service and response is so inadequate!! Thanks for posting, I’ll be sure to avoid them
The shipping is slow, so that’s where they save the money. Cheap, slow shipping. Products are authentic tho.
Yeah, we were able to purchase non-American sunscreens online and have them shipped from places like YesStyle, Stylevana, Olive Young, and the like until literally yesterday when they put the ban in place, effective immediately.
Yesstyle does this as well, they ship out of Hong Kong I believe but a good chunk of their products are KR and JP beauty
