The only thing that worked was going on the birth control pill (Yaz) which completely cleared it up.
my gyno recently switched me to yaz and i just started my first pack yesterday, so im on day 2 now. i was on aubra EQ before but i was starting to notice it wasn’t helping my skin like it used to, i also started spotting which makes me think there’s some hormonal imbalance happening.
i’ve been on the pill since i was 16 (24 now) and it’s always helped my acne, my skin is usually pretty clear with an occasional breakout around my period.

I have been on Accutane before and I have also been on YAZ twice in my life, both come with their fair share of purging. YAZ is similar to Yasmin but is more so used for acne treatment (though comes with a lot of side effects I can list and warn you for if you are thinking about switching.)
I tried 50 mg for a year but it didn’t clear my acne until i went up to 100 mg. however, it did mess with my cycle and i would not stop spotting so i started yaz which fixed that problem right away.
