Yamaha Revstar

Pros

• I'm probably sounding like a Yamaha shill, but my Revstar is my favorite guitar. ... It just feels right in my hands, fit and finish is great, playabilty is perfect, and I love the tone.
• One of the few Original and new Design that doesn’t Look like shit
• I like the design. It’s not trying to imitate anything else, and that’s what makes it stand out from all the Strat and LP-style guitars out there.
• They look awesome IMO. I'd buy one in black if I could afford it.
• As far as "modern" style guitars go that aren't super-strat-ish, I have a good feeling this shape is going to prove somewhat timeless. I bought one early 2023 (black and p-90's model) and it's my go guitar since.

Cons

• I love my Revstar to death, but I’ve tried and tried to get any sort of good sound out of the boost, but it’s more of a treble cut than a mid boost.
• I like it with p90s but not humbuckers. Idk why.
• 2 things that are meh about this guitar; the boost switch is kinda useless and the tailpiece makes restringing slightly more a hassle than a standard tailpiece.
• Not my thing.
• I thought this was a Yamaha Revstar at first glance, looks very similar.
