I'd lean on the side of the Pacifica. ... Yamaha seems to be more reliable, at least on the budget range instruments.
A yamaha pacifica was my first electric, like 25 years ago. Loved that thing, until I got a nicer ibanez. Got rid of it, and regret that ever since. Been thinking of getting myself a higher end pasifica for a while now. They play very nice, highly recommend for a first electric
The Yamaha Pacific is my choice, or a used Fender Squire made in Indonesia.
Ive been looking at Yamaha Pacifica and some Ibanez models in the cheaper prize range.
Pacifica 👌🏽
