Yamaha P-525

Pros

• The Roland was purchased specifically for the action, slightly better (subjective) than on the direct competitor, the Yamaha P525.
• P-525 is considered light. It is the P-515 that is relatively heavy, but P-515 still very agile.
• I have a p525 and I've heard people say it has a heavy action but it's the closest I've found to a proper acoustic piano. I find it pretty light with a really nice feel.
• Would love a p525 but don’t think I’m ready for that leap yet.
• It’s a pity because they do have texted keys on models higher up like the P525, at least for the black keys, so someone at Yamaha knows this is important

Cons

• An alternative is the Yamaha P525, better piano sounds and speakers than the Roland FP 90 but the action is not quite as good.
• Perhaps the P525 with stand/3pedal (same action as CLP745)?
• For the key action, you may want to also try FP90X, P525, MP11SE or some top furnitures (and compare also with good acoustic pianos for reference).
• The current P525 has woody GT-S like the CLP845/745.
• The 515 was replaced by the 525 but lost its wooden keys although Yamaha claims their improved GrandTouch action provides a better user expierence.
