I've been looking at the new 2026 XPS 14 for work, university, and personal use but I'm confused by Dell's pricing. I configured one with: Core Ultra X7 358H 32GB RAM 1TB SSD 14" 2.8K OLED touch display The custom configuration comes out to about $2,900. But Dell also has a Software & Services Bundle with what looks like the exact same hardware for about $2,500

I'm running Ubuntu 26.04 on my XPS14 for a few months now and loving it. Snappy, long battery life after switching to oem kernel.

What I’m referring to is a rattling noise coming from the right-side fan when it is spinning. It sounds like there may be a loose screw or some internal component vibrating or moving. I have just updated Windows, the BIOS, and all drivers to the latest versions, but the noise is still present, it seems more like a hardware issue.
