Pros

  • I love the TIR beam of the Wurkkos.
  • It's a fantastic light but mine died after a year of not particularly heavy use : (
  • ts11 wouuld be a much better thrower with ability to use 18650 tube

  • Wurkkos TS11 would work. Uses an 18350 battery but an extended tube is available so you can use an 18560 battery. Get it in Orange.

Cons

  • I was gonna grab a ts11 and a ts10 max until I saw posts regarding the driver not being a buck driver as well as a few other glitches.
  • the ts11 would be just for fun and doesn't fit the bill for pocketability.
  • It easily outdoes all my other lights (with the exception of the throw on my ts11, but i almost feel like the TIR pencil beam lights don't really count cause they dont feel that practical).
  • The TS11 runs a firmware called Anduril 2. That if you don't know it, it can be very overwhelming.

A 35mm TIR lens was purchased. The same one is installed on the sofirn if22a and wurkkos ts11. ... I am more than pleased with the result: the side illumination is much better than I expected from TIR lenses. The hole from the donut in the hot spot has completely disappeared.

If you want a small bright light for spotting things in the distance you could get a Wurkkos TS11 from their own website. As you are prioritizing low weight and small size it has a small battery but you can get an extension tube and use an 18650 with it if you wanted something with longer runtime.
