Pros
- Nice little light.
- Honestly I like it, and it’s a cheap enough light that I don’t have to worry about losing it. The form factor is good for my pocket, it has a physical lockout slider, and if it does turn on my mistake it doesn’t get hot enough to set my...
- I want everyone to be aware of the best flashlight for the money that is why I own every color they make so far. It ranges between $20 to $30 depending on color and sale price. It’s 400 lumens it has a magnetic base. It has a clip that s...
- Wuben G5, has a red light as well.
- I actually really like the clip on the G5 because you can change its position 3 different ways. Love the light
Cons
- Not gonna lie, it looks like an ungainly awkward lump to EDC.
- Mine broke and it started working again when I pushed the wheel 'down' - as in away from the power button - and then pushed the power button.
- my Wuben G5 and X4 were both underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend them unless there was a crazy sale on them. Not the worst and not the best
- Already aware of the Wuben G5 and Sofirn SK05 II (I know these get recommended a lot) – they feel too "busy"/cluttered for what I want, so please no need to suggest those.
- I got one. The clip does suck bad. It's not that powerful and the on/off button isn't that responsive. But... It's different than the norm and fun in a way. I got one because it was so cheap. Don't use it often but don't regret buying it.

Honestly I like it, and it’s a cheap enough light that I don’t have to worry about losing it. The form factor is good for my pocket, it has a physical lockout slider, and if it does turn on my mistake it doesn’t get hot enough to set my pants on fire. Also it has the best mouthfeel of any light I own. Perfect size and shape to hold in my lips (not teeth) comfortably.

My impression of the g5 is that it's something of a "novelty". From what i've seen, people occasionally found the combo of a magnetic base + swivel head useful, but otherwise the durability and quality are questionable.
This thing is awful. It is undeniably atrocious trash. The clip is an abomination. The beam is horrendous. The tint is comically bad. The UI is fine, but surprisingly, the switch is bad... The light also has a self-discharge rate equal to the output of our sun. It is virtually never charged. And the anodizing, I think it is made of egg shells. It seems to flake off for no reason. The fit and finish isn’t great either. The switch seems to stick and the selector dial makes an audible grinding noise when I use it.
I got one and it was a lemon. Never worked beyond a week. Won’t charge anymore. Just flashes blue and red intermittently but doesn’t actually charge. Only works while plugged in now.
